Two judging stations will be situated along the parade route on Lakeshore Road by Town Square, and Kerr Street by Heritage Square.
Judging is based on effort, theme, appearance and originality, and participation.
A monetary prize of $500 will be awarded to the Best Overall Float to be given to a charity of their choice. This award will be determined by the best score overall.
The Judges will decide tie breakers. All decision will be final. In the event of a tie, each organization will be awarded $500.
A float created by a for-profit organization or business.
A float created by a non-profitable organization or business.
Created by publicly funded or not-for-profit schools.
A group that walks the parade route with no vehicle, tow truck, or float.
Selected via an online survey, to be posted shortly after the parade. The respondent can select the best float and best band.
Each category is rated out of five for an overall score of 20.
